Re: New project starts tomorrow

They are like a wasp, or yellowjacket. But they build there nest for laying eggs out of mud. The damn things have filled most of the bolt holes on the bike full of mud. It took me over an hour to clean them all out. So I started putting bolts in the holes to keep them out.

I have had them fill the air bibs on my paint guns with mud. So I keep tape over them now.

Damn pests...

Re: New project starts tomorrow

Well I got the oil bag in place had to make some brackets and spacers... Moved the coil down 1 inch so it would clear the tanks. Have to get 1 inch longer sparkplug wires.

Got the tanks on and almost fitted. Have to make a rear mount bracket for the tank. Diggin in some boxes of parts I have i found an almost new set of front brake rotors. That saved me some money.

Still have to get the inner primary welded up. But got to wait for my buddy to have the time to do it for me our teach me how to use his tig.

Also found a backrest and brackets in the same box with the rotors, mama says she got to have a backrest. Well thats all for today. Here are a few pic's of the progress..

Found some calipers off a 77 which will fit. Comes with all the hoses and fittings, It's on ebay, and i'm watching it. Ordered a trim kit for the oil bag, should make it look a little better. I have red paint and black paint, dont know which one i'm gonna use. But will put some airbrush on it. Might do some skulls or demons of some type..and definitely flames. Still need to get front master cylinder and brake lever for a 82 to 94 harley in chrome. I have the clutch side, oh well more stuff to beg barrow or buy. You noticed I didn't say steal....lol
