Re: July 1st / 4th of July
Man you should have said something earlier, now I have to figure out what to do for Canada Day quick, I have already missed 14 hours of partying . Have to get some Molsens. Kevin and all the other Canadian guys and gals, have a good one and keep it safe.
The wife has to work on the 4th so I'm riding up to nort joisey for a hot dog at Blacksmith Cycles, that's nice riding country up that a way.

Re: July 1st / 4th of July
Well, there was all sorts of things I was putting off this summer, saying to the better half (and to myself) "I'll get to it after this trip to the Dragon."
Well, gentle folk, the Dragon run is in the rear view.
I'm painting the house this weekend.

Big D,
Painting the house on the 4th is very unpatriotic unless you painting it red, white and blue. Are you painting it red, white and blue? If not, print this out and give it to your wife.
Dear Misses Big D. Please excuse Mr Big D from painting on the 4th as it is very unpatriotic but instead give him lots of beer, hamburgers, beer, potato salad, beer, baked beans and beer, then he can start painting on the 6th as Sunday is a day of rest and riding.

Thanks, Mutt! But she ain't buyin' it!
And... yeah, I'm 1/3 there... it's white!
Hooty: Thanks a million, dude. But I'ts an old ranch, with old fashioned aluminum siding. Perfect for a 3" brush. Brushing it on is slow, but so am I!

Well Kevin, I tried. Rode 265 (by my calculations I got 55 MPG - I don't think that's correct), had directions from map quest and rand mcnally and couldn't find the place. The area is near Lake Hopatcong where my buddy keeps his boat so I am somewhat familiar with the area, and my son was in the town of Sussex where Nick's place is so talking to him last night I found out where the directions were mis-leading but I had a nice ride (until some dickhead from New York ran me out of the left lane so he could turn right - that makes no sense). The country is hilly and alot of farms, took some back roads and got really lost so I saw no one that I planned to see that day and I missed having FREE hot dogs at three different places. In protest I came home and had a hamburger.
Nick (if your out there), it's not your fault that I couldn't find the place but you owe me a freakin hot dog.
