Re: current build

Its been a while but I've been busy. Its finally together and running. Got the starter finished and it works a treat. Cranks the motor no problem and the motor fires easy! I've always maintained that it doesn't matter how fast a machine goes if it won't start. The starter is for a Dodge truck and is gear reduced. I trimmed the starter gear and welded a socket to the end. By th grace of God the socket was just the right length and I was able to use the original hog ring to retain it. I was also too tight to spend $30 bucks at Harbor Frieght for a dolly to carry the starter and battery so I made my own. The "gothic arch" is a result of using what was going to be a rear body mount but it functions so I don't care.
