Big D is on a distinguished road
Smile Solitary rides...And Brittany's Return!

Many of us ride in groups, on organized rides, poker runs, etc. I rarely do this, opting instead with maybe one other rider, or most frequently alone. Thought I'd post up some pic's of some of these, as a result of some of us talking at lunch.

Note that I live in east-central Indiana, and there is hardly anything of interest there. Hell, I have to ride 40 miles to find a curve in the road!

This first is a gag, contrasting what I find on rides, compared to some of the National Geographic scenery some see, like out in the Pac NW.

Corn field:

Here's a stainless sculpture at a local cultural arts center I think is pretty cool...

In the tiny whistle-stop town of Cammack, someone had remodeled a Phillips 66 station into a diner. Got a good tenderloin here...

Last summer, the only business to hit this little diner came on farm machinery!

Saw this old steamer locomotive just rusting away near Connersville, IN.

IN has a few covered bridges left. Here's Potter's Bridge in Noblesville.

This one is in Matthews, IN. They have a festival here every fall.

How on earth did Brittany get in here??? **sigh**

This is cheating a little, but late last fall, Hoosier XLC and I got out in the woods. Here's Scott and his magnificent Shovel...

...and finally, I had to re-visit this place to get more pic's of the Superglide with my new paint...

Hey, anybody get out on a solo ride and remember to take the camera?
