Well today I was able to clean the steel plates for the clutch up and they should be usable but the fiber plates are toast.
Then I started working on my son in laws 1990 Springer Softail. While transporting in a pickup a few months ago the wiring was ripped out and later due to a short it caught fire, and burned up the brake lines and some wiring. I have replaced all the wiring and got a new brake lines that came by FedX yesterday..Then I put them in today.
Now I have to load it in a trailer and take it to my kids house Saturday. One less project..
.. I'm not riding it because it is not registered in California and has no plates or insurance. It came from Iowa, and we met the guy in Wyoming, one long trip, but thats another story.

I had to rebuild the trans in this one a few month ago due to an accident. He was hit in the shifter lever and it ruined the shifting forks. But its on the road again..
