I have spent a lot of time on trying to get the feel on the trike issue.Before I bought my sidecar I rode a couple different versions and talked with a lot of owners. Lehman and trike shop trikes felt unstable in turns. When turning you felt like it was going to tip over.Even at slower speeds.And they look so goldwingish. I may get some flack for this but I was at the point of signing the papers on a Boss Hoss trike and at the last second the money issue pulled me away. They of all the trikes I rode you could take a corner at a decent spend without puckering up. And my thought was if I'm going to ride a trike well I'm GOING TO RIDE A TRIKE. A small block BH with a bumpy cam has a high cool factor in my book. And they have storage space. But I got my HD sidecar rig which are exspensive !!!!. Handles great. Can have both boys with me and stow lots of stuff. My littlest one sleeps most of the time when riding any distance. You just have to rethink when on it you drive a hack not ride it. I also checked into maybe using a service car and updating the engine. But the rear drive setup is old school and won't handle highway speeds. My two wheel days are over so I'm always looking to see whats out there. The one I posted pics of for sure would be unstable in turns but if I built one it would be a bar bike.With a shovelhead of course. And save my hack for any cross country trips.One thing about HD sidecars is the steering dampner that they use is made by VW.The very same unit used on VW bugs. Ken
